FAQ's
How do I get paid and how does it work?
Getting paid is the new feature to earn PayRewards Points now on your incoming payments. Get paid via PayID or bank transfer through pay.com.au and earn PayRewards Points on every dollar you receive. Set up your PayID and bank details, add them to your invoices, and every time a customer pays you, the points stack. Simple as that.
How do I set it up?
Easy. Head to Get paid in your pay.com.au account dashboard, choose your business-branded PayID, link your settlement account, and pick your PayRewards tier. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all your details. Add them to your invoices, send to your payer and you’re ready to earn.
When do I receive my money?
Funds are settled to your nominated bank account by 2pm Melbourne time each business day. Payments received after 2pm settle the following business day. You’ll get an email confirmation the moment we receive your funds, no more chasing remittances or logging into your bank to check.
Do my customers need a pay.com.au account to pay me?
No. Your customers can pay from any banking app via bank transfer, no pay.com.au account needed. As long as they’re paying to your pay.com.au PayID or BSB & Account Number, the funds come through and your PayRewards Points are on their way.
When are my PayRewards Points issued?
Your points are calculated and issued alongside your daily settlement summary, around 6pm Melbourne time. You’ll also receive individual tax receipts for each transaction, making it straightforward to reconcile in Xero or MYOB.
Do I need to change my invoicing set-up?
Not at all. Receivables works with whatever you’re already using, Xero, MYOB, a PDF template, or simply sending your details directly to your customers. Just add your pay.com.au PayID and BSB & Account Number to your existing invoices. Nothing changes for your customers either, they pay via bank transfer as they always have.
Can my customers pay by credit card?
