The offer. Straight answers.

Everything you need to know about the bonus, the credit card changes and how pay.com.au works.

Sign up for a new pay.com.au business account (or accept your invitation if you already have one), then make or receive $25,000 or more in eligible payments between 16 October and 30 November 2026. $25,000 to $49,999 earns 10,000 bonus PayRewards Points. $50,000 to $99,999 earns 25,000. $100,000 to $499,999 earns 100,000. $500,000 to $999,999 earns 200,000. $1 million or more earns 300,000. The bonus is credited within 30 days after the offer ends. Full terms and conditions apply.
No. You receive the bonus for the highest tier you reach by 30 November 2026. It is one offer per business.
Yes. Eligible payments you make through pay.com.au and payments you receive to your pay.com.au PayID or account details between 16 October and 30 November 2026 both count toward your tier, and they add together: $60,000 paid out plus $40,000 received is a $100,000 total. They earn at different rates. Payments you make earn 1, 2 or 3 PayRewards Points per $1, and Ultra’s 3 per $1 needs the Regular or Premium plan. Payments you receive earn 1 or 2 PayRewards Points per $1, because Ultra does not apply to money received.
Yes. You can pay the ATO directly by credit card until 30 June 2027. After that date the ATO stops accepting credit cards directly, and it says third-party payment providers can still take them. Through pay.com.au you pay by credit card and we pay the ATO by BPAY, now and after 30 June 2027. Read the ATO media release.
Pay them through pay.com.au. Add the supplier, pay by Amex, Visa or Mastercard, and pay.com.au pays them by bank transfer, so they never need a card terminal. Since 1 October 2026, eftpos, Mastercard and Visa rules stop businesses adding a surcharge for card payments, so some suppliers may stop taking credit cards.
No. Take one $100,000 supplier payment by American Express Platinum Business on the Premium plan (complimentary for your first 90 days, then $165 a month) with PayRewards Ultra. You pay $2,700 in PayRewards fees and $1,905 in card fees (ex GST), about $3,454 after a typical tax deduction. You earn 300,000 PayRewards Points at Ultra’s 3 per $1, plus 100,000 bonus PayRewards Points for reaching the $100,000 tier, plus 112,500 Qantas Points from your card under its own terms. Redeemed for business class flights that is an indicative $10,938 (). Card fees are 1.00% to 1.20% for Visa and Mastercard and 1.75% to 2.10% for American Express (ex GST), depending on your plan and the payment size.
PayID payments arrive the same day when made before 2pm Melbourne time. Card payments arrive the next business day. Standard bank transfers take two business days. You see the delivery date before you confirm every payment.
You register with your ABN and verify your identity, which takes a few minutes. Then you add a payee, choose how to pay and confirm your first payment. Payments you make or receive up to 30 November 2026 count toward your bonus tier.
Add the ATO as a BPAY payee in pay.com.au, pay by credit card, and pay.com.au pays the ATO by BPAY. You need your payment reference number (PRN) from the ATO. Your card earns points under its own terms, and you can earn PayRewards Points too.
pay.com.au Limited holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 700223) issued by ASIC. The platform is ISO 27001 certified and PCI DSS compliant, card and bank data are tokenised, every login uses passkey or multi-factor authentication, and customer funds are quarantined in an ANZ institutional account. You approve every payment and see the delivery date before you confirm.
Transfer them to 17 airline and hotel partners, including Qantas Business Rewards and Virgin Australia Business Flyer at 2:1, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Emirates Skywards, Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors. Or redeem for digital gift cards, or use them to pay a business invoice. Flights typically return the most value per point. PayRewards Points expire after 18 months with no earning activity, and any payment that earns PayRewards Points keeps your balance active.
Yes. pay.com.au is built for Australian businesses, so you need an active ABN, and the person signing up must be a director or beneficial owner. Registration takes a few minutes.
