Will the pay.com.au mobile app work on my phone?
The pay.com.au app works on most modern smartphones running iOS 17 or later on iPhone, or Android 14 or later. Not sure which version you’re on? Check Settings on your device and you’re good to go.
How does the app keep my account secure?
Your security is our priority. Step away for more than 3 minutes and you’ll need to verify with a PIN or Face ID before continuing. Haven’t opened the app in 90 days? You’ll be prompted to log back in. Convenient when you’re using it, locked down when you’re not.
What payments can I make from the app?
You can pay now, schedule for later, or set up recurring payments, all from your phone. Approvers get a push notification and can sign off in seconds from wherever they are. You can also view your full transaction history and cancel scheduled payments on the go. Note: batch payment creation is desktop only, but your batch payment history is available in the app.
Can I add or change my payment methods in the app?
All the payment methods you’ve already set up on pay.com.au are ready to use in the app straight away, no extra setup needed. Your preferred payment method will always appear first at checkout. Adding new payment methods is desktop only, once added on the website, they’ll sync to your app automatically.
Is everything I do on the website available in the app?
The app is built around what you need most when you’re on the move; making, approving, and tracking payments. A few things are desktop only for now: redeeming PayRewards Points, managing users, and account setup. We’re always working to bring more to the app, so watch this space.
