    Start earning points with us

Earn even more points on all your business expenses with pay.com.au

    Get started

You’re probably already a pro at earning credit card points – which is why you’ve started processing your business payments through Pay.com.au. But it pays to learn about our own PayRewards platform as well, because you could be double dipping on those sweet, sweet points.

Use your credit card to make payments through Pay.com.au, and earn points on plastic as usual. But when you choose to collect PayRewards Points on the same purchase, you’ll be rewarded with a second, separate serving of points. Collect points with your bank, earn points with us in tandem, and you’re in the fast lane to flying business class.

When it comes to PayRewards, you’re not locked into just one frequent flyer program. Instead, you’ll earn valuable points in our flexible PayRewards program. These can be converted into frequent flyer points with 12 airline partners. So, you can earn points now, and decide how to spend them later.

Chasing Qantas Points? You can convert from PayRewards straight to Qantas Business Rewards. Prefer to fly with Virgin Australia? Great – transfer from PayRewards to Virgin Australia Business Flyer, and onwards to Velocity. Perhaps, you’d like to earn points points or miles in the frequent flyer programs of Qatar Airways… or Singapore Airlines… or Air Canada… or British Airways… or Cathay Pacific. With PayRewards, you can – and we have even more fantastic transfer partners, too.

The key to PayRewards is flexibility. When the airline you’d normally book doesn’t have a reward seat that suits, the next move doesn’t have to be shelling out for a full-fare ticket. Instead, through the power of PayRewards, you could still get where you need to go on points. Perhaps, just with a different airline. After all, it’s nice to have some variety in life.

    Why are flexible points valuable?

When you have PayRewards Points at your disposal, planning your trip becomes a whole lot easier. Because you can transfer points to different airlines, you can stitch just about any trip together. You can also convert points when it suits you, and in the quantity you need.

Maybe there’s a seat with Velocity Points that gets you to your first meeting. Then, your plans have you darting onwards aboard a flight booked using Qantas Points. After that, you squeeze in a ‘bleisure’ break through Singapore courtesy of KrisFlyer miles… before turning around and coming home: using points from these, or any of our other partners.

Do you see the value opportunity? If you had only Qantas Points to spend, you’re limited to finding reward seats with Qantas and its partners. Similarly, if you only had Velocity Points to burn, your options are restricted to Virgin Australia and its network of friends in the air. But with PayRewards, the world is your oyster.

You can transfer your points to airlines across Oneworld, Star Alliance, SkyTeam, and to carriers beyond that. You can also convert PayRewards Points into hotel loyalty points with several partners, to help cover your accommodation costs on the ground.

If there’s a reward seat on a flight that’s destined to the same place as you, there’s a very good chance you can secure it by starting that journey with PayRewards.

    The double dip opportunity

You’ve done a great job so far by earning credit card points. And, if you’ve played your cards right, those points will have already taken you to some amazing places. PayRewards doesn’t replace those points. You can earn them on top of any existing credit card rewards. Rather than paying your suppliers directly using a credit card, you could make that same payment via Pay.com.au.

In fact, pay.com.au is a great way to earn the full swathe of points from your credit card – particularly if paying government bodies like the ATO. That’s because many credit cards award points at a severely reduced rate on tax bills and other government transactions. Many cards prevent points from being given on these purchases entirely, when paying government entities directly. But that’s not the case with pay.com.au.

When you make a payment through Pay.com.au, we’re the merchant of record. And, for the record, we’re not a government entity. This means you can expect to earn credit card points at your card’s full, usual rate, on transactions processed via our platform. Just like any other routine business transaction you might make.

But that’s not all. You know that monthly BPAY transfer you’re currently putting through to pay off your business’ credit card? You could be processing that through Pay.com.au as well, and earning even more PayRewards Points. That’s because with Pay.com.au, you can fund your payments using bank transfer or credit card. (As you might expect, if you’re paying off your credit card in this way, only bank transfer is permitted.)

Really, it’s not a double dip. It’s a triple dip. Points from your credit card? Check. Another helping of points when paying your supplier bills – and other expenses like payroll – through Pay.com.au? Check again. Even more points when paying off those same transactions through Pay.com.au? Now you’re playing at the expert level!

Those PayRewards Points can really take you places

Just imagine all of the comfortable flights you could be taking with wads of PayRewards Points at your disposal. But let’s turn that dream into a reality. Did you know that by starting with PayRewards Points, you could book reward flights on 161 airlines? You may never hear the phrase, “there are no reward seats”, ever again…

Looking for seats on Oneworld Alliance flights? You can convert PayRewards Points to Qantas Business Flyer (and onto Qantas Frequent Flyer), The British Airways Club, Cathay (Asia Miles), Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

More of a Star Alliance fan? That’s cool – we’ve got Air Canada Aeroplan, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus, and United MileagePlus. Looking for SkyTeam flights? Our partner Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles could take you there. And, of course, Virgin Australia Business Flyer is your ticket to earning Velocity Points through Pay.com.au – and we’ve also got China Southern Sky Pearl Club.

But pay.com.au is more than just a way to get there. You can use your well-earned PayRewards Points for hotel stays, too. If there’s a room available via Accor Live Limitless, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, or Marriott Bonvoy, you could transfer points from PayRewards and lock it in. (For advanced players, Marriott Bonvoy has a phenomenal list of its own airline points partners, too. You could convert PayRewards Points into Marriott Bonvoy, and then onwards to Marriott’s own partner programs, to unlock an impressive number of reward seats with airlines large and small.)

That, right there, is the power of flexibility. Being able to travel how you want to fly – not just being stuck with the carriers your ‘home airline’ is friends with. Mix in hotel rewards too, and you’ll be laughing… while sitting in 1A, of course.
