Did you know? Top pay.com.au FAQs unveiled

We know you probably have a ton of questions about making the most of pay.com.au. We get it – there’s a lot to explore! That’s why we’ve compiled this handy FAQ blog post to answer some of the most common questions we’ve received recently. Whether you’re new to PayRewards or a seasoned user, this guide will help you navigate our platform with ease.

Do I need to earn PayRewards on all of my transactions?

Not necessarily! PayRewards is designed to be flexible. You can choose whether or not to earn points on each transaction based on your individual needs and preferences. For a breakdown of the fees associated with different payment methods, be sure to check out our pricing page.

    What is PayRewards?

PayRewards is our loyalty program that allows you to earn points on your business transactions. Every time you process a transaction through the pay.com.au platform, you have the option to earn PayRewards Points, whether you’re using a bank transfer or a credit card.

The best part? You can use your PayRewards points flexibly through our redemption portal. Convert your points instantly to partner airlines, hotels, and more. Plus, you can redeem them for gift cards, event tickets, travel, and a wide variety of other rewards.

What happens if my supplier only accepts EFT transfers?

No problem at all! Even if your supplier only accepts EFT transfers, you can still use your preferred payment method on our platform. Simply set up your supplier as a payee, and you’re good to go. This allows you to pay suppliers who don’t accept credit cards quickly and easily.

How do I make an international payment?

While you can’t directly pay international payees through pay.com.au, you can still earn rewards on those transactions by using our international payment partners.

    Here’s how:

    1. Use our partners: Fund your accounts with partners like Airwallex and OFX through pay.com.au. This way, you can earn rewards on these transactions.
    2. Other providers: If you prefer using PayPal, Wise, or another international payment provider, no worries. Just set up your account as a payee on pay.com.au and make your payment there.

In simple terms, you can use your credit card or bank transfer to fund your chosen international payment provider, and then make the payment to your international suppliers from that account.

How long does it take for the points to appear after I make a payment?

Your PayRewards Points will appear in your account as soon as the payment is remitted. Once a payment is processed, it will show up in your transaction history as “Sent.”

How do I cancel my payment?

If you need to cancel a payment, here’s what you need to do:

    1. Go to Scheduled Payments.
    2. Find the payment you wish to cancel.
    3. Click on the ellipses (three dots) on the right-hand side of that payment.
    4. Select Cancel and Remove.
    5. Confirm your cancellation in the pop-up window.
