Get paid is live. It’s about to change your business.

We’re thrilled to announce that Get paid is now live, a game-changing new way to earn PayRewards Points on your incoming cashflow. If you’ve been stacking rewards on the money going out, prepare yourself: now you can do the same on the money coming in.

Your customers are already paying you. Whether it’s client invoices, rent deposits, or supplier repayments, that money lands in your account. But until now, you weren’t earning anything on it.

    That changes today.

    Double the earning potential

Pay.com.au customers know the power of turning every business expense into rewards. You earn your credit card points AND PayRewards Points on every payment you make, the double-dip that sets you apart.

Now Get paid extends that thinking to your receivables. Every bank transfer payment your customers send you earns PayRewards Points. Same great earning rates. Same flexibility to choose between 1 or 2 points per dollar. Same ability to transfer to 16 airline and hotel partners.

You’re already handling incoming revenue. Why not get rewarded for it?

3 simple steps to start earning

    1. Set up your PayID Head to “Get paid” in your pay.com.au dashboard. Create your business-branded PayID (e.g. smithplumbing@invoice.pay.com.au), select your settlement account, and choose your rewards tier. Takes just a few minutes, done once.
    2. Add to your invoices Copy your PayID and bank details onto your invoices, the same way you would any payment detail. Works with Xero, MYOB, PDF templates, or direct email. No new software needed. No learning curve.
    3. Payments arrive, points stack Your customer pays you via bank transfer as normal. We receive the funds, settle them to your account by 2pm Melbourne time, and issue your PayRewards Points the same day. You’ll get an email confirmation the moment we receive payment, no more checking your bank balance to confirm funds have arrived.

Why PayID is the smarter choice

You can receive payments via PayID or traditional BSB and account details. Both work, but PayID delivers a better experience for your customers.

When your customer pays via PayID from their banking app, they see your actual business name – familiar, trustworthy, and reassuring. With BSB and account payments, they’ll see “pay.com.au” as the account name, which can cause unnecessary questions or hesitation.

PayID is also processed through Australia’s real-time payments network, meaning funds land faster than standard bank transfers. Faster payments mean faster settlement and faster reward points in your account.

    Your rewards options

We kept this straightforward. Choose your package:

Core: 1 PayRewards Point per $1 received | 1% fee Plus: 2 PayRewards Points per $1 received | 1.8% fee

The fee is deducted from each payment before it reaches your account, so there are no surprises. Your points transfer to any of our 16 airline and hotel partners; Qantas, Virgin, KrisFlyer, Marriott, Hilton, and more.

Want to switch tiers later? Change it anytime from your Get paid settings.

    How settlement works

When do you get paid? Funds settle to your nominated account at approximately 2pm Melbourne time every day, including weekends and public holidays.

Payments received after 2pm settle the following day.

When do you receive tax receipts? Around 7:30pm Melbourne time, you’ll receive individual receipts for each transaction, bundled into emails of 10 (the maximum Xero accepts). Forward them directly to your accounting software or download and upload manually.

When do your points arrive? Your PayRewards Points are issued at the same time as settlement, approximately 2pm Melbourne time.

    What’s on the horizon

We built Get paid to work seamlessly with how you already operate. That said, we’re exploring some exciting additions for the future:

    • Credit card payment acceptance
    • Hosted payment pages you can link from invoices
    • Deeper Xero integration for easier reconciliation
    • Expanding beyond Australia

Your feedback shapes our roadmap, so let us know what matters most to your business.
